Students are asked to write their biggest stressor (cause of stress) and place it on the stressor chart shown above.  Most stressors listed are related to school, friends, and family.  Then, students write one thing they do that helps them relieve stress.

Pictured above are examples of stressor and ways students help to reduce their stress.

"Obstacles in Life"
Sometimes in life you bump into things, such as peer pressure, that can keep you from ultimately reaching your goal.  This activity involves various students holding cards with words or phrases on them.  When a student is making his/ her way through the obstacles, he/ she will bump into various ones.  If they bump into a person holding card, the student holding the card creates a scenario using the key terms on the cards.

The student continues down the road of life until the student reaches the bullseye.  The bullseye at the end of the tunnel represents what students want to be when they grow up.  Were they able to make it through the "Tunnel of Life" and successfully reach their goal?

A student is wearing the class "Coat of Arms."
Every student has the opportunity to write one thing
that they are good at on the T-shirt.

"Life Class" is a 3 dimensional puzzle.

Here is a sample of a piece of the puzzle. Students were asked to show the self they saw, the self they hide, and the self they hope to be.

"Goal Quilt"

This is a piece of the quilt. Each student decorated a quilt piece pertaining to the goal that they pledged to work toward for the remainder of the nine week period.

Their goal had to be one that would improve their physical, mental, or social health.
